Harvard Professor Presses Freshmen Class to Sign a Kindness Pledge

Academic achievement is once again put on the back burner as the Dean of Freshmen, Thomas Dingman, attempted to institute a new tradition with the class of 2015 by having them sign a “kindness” pledge.  

Dingman revealed this pledge in his blog, which included, “As we begin at Harvard, we commit to upholding the values of the College and to making the entryway and Yard a place where all can thrive and where the exercise of kindness holds a place on a par with intellectual attainment.”
